2004-05-21 Reform of the Swiss MD-PhD Program - Position of the SMPA

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) and the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMS) plan to reform the «Swiss MD/PhD program».

The Swiss MD/PhD Association (SMPA) has been asked by the SAMS to present its position concerning the paper “Nationale Harmonisierung und Neustrukturierung des überregionalen (“nationalen”) MD/PhD Programmes - Ein Vorschlag des nationalen Expertengremiums und der Fakultäts-Verantwortlichen” of July 2003.

The position of the SMPA is described in the document File:SMPG_Stellungnahme.pdf. Being an answer to a German paper it is written in German too.
