Our response to the article Going, Going, Gone: Lost Internet References Science 2003; 302: 787-788 has been published as an E-Letter response in Science: Scientist Identification Number.
We were informed, that a similar article had already earlier been published in Nature [1]. This supports our idea and further stresses the need for such a database.
