The recently held SMPA annual meeting 2008: FORSCHUNG IM SPITAL - LA RECHERCHE DANS L'HOPITAL has been attended by about 50 participants. The meeting was focused on “Research in University Hospitals” and included scientific and political talks as well as a panel discussion.
The SMPA is currently working in collaboration with the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences on the publication of the results of a first european outcome analysis of a structured MD-PhD program.
The SMPA was represented by Lukas Jeker, MD, PhD at the annual meeting of the American Physician Scientist Association APSA in Chicago, April 25-27th.
