APSA

The American Physician Scientists Association (APSA) unites American MD-PhDs and MD-PhD students participating in different MD-PhD training programs all over the U.S.
There are about 500 students per year entering a MD-PhD training program in the U.S.. With about 12 to 15 MD-PhD students per year in Switzerland, a similar percentage of population is thus integrated in both countries (500 per 250 millions in the U.S. vs. 12-15 per 7.5 millions in CH).
You can find detailed information not only on the APSA itself, but also on MD-PhD training in general in the U.S. on the APSA homepage. As an SMPA member, you may also feel free to contact the APSA members personally to obtain further information.
