About SMPA

SMPA is an all volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  While our board members and volunteers are appropriately reimbursed for business expenses, no one at SMPA receives a salary.

We run leagues year-round, both indoor and outdoor.  Our indoor leagues have run at BASH Pickelball Club, Greystone Pickleball Club, PickleRage, Paddle & Par, Troy Racquet Club, and Wessen Indoor Tennis Club.  Our outdoor leagues have run at Rosie's Park (Madison Heights) and Upton and Whittier Parks (Royal Oak).  We have hosted mixers throughout southeastern Michigan at various venues, and occasionally host non-pickleball events for our members and their friends.
