On Friday, May 30 2025, Channel 7 News did a segment about Rosie's Park's new pickleball courts in Madison Heights, and invited SMPA!

Melissa Marsh (City Manager for Madison Heights and a SMPA member/pickleball player) and Frank J. Fedel (President of SMPA) spoke to Christiana Ford (Channel 7 reporter) about the beautiful new pickleball courts and the sport, and how pickleball provides residents with a sense of community, as well as providing them with an excellent, affordable recreational activity.
